Is it possible to lose weight without starving?

Starvation and weight loss have no relation in common. Rather, to the utter amazement and astonishment of many, the fact remains that – the more you starve, the fatter you will be! Yes, that is true, if you wonder is it possible to lose weight without starving, then you should be happy to know, yes it is possible!

People eat food to live. But those who live to eat, actually end up having too much of weight gain and that is extremely unhealthy. If you take proper amount of food, only that much which your body demands, then the purpose will be served –nourishment and energizing the body and you will not have to take the pain of a starvation diet.
·         Eat small portions:
What you must do is reduce the amount of food you take and not stop eating at all. Every time you feel like eating something, eat in small portions, leaving space for more in your belly. Thus you will end up eating less that you usually do.



·         Eat frequently:
Rather than eating in bulk amount all at a time, eat small portions in frequent time gaps. Thus your appetite will be satiated, without making you gobble up all those sinful tasty foods in front of you.

·         Avoid junk:
There is no better alternative to this. Not only to become lean and thin, to stay healthy also, you must avoid all the fatty, spicy and junk food that have nothing good in them. Go for the healthy alternatives that are tasty as well as good for the body. Shift from normal white bread to whole wheat or multigrain brown bread. Instead of refined oil, cook food in olive oil. These small things can be huge steps towards losing wait.


·         Exercise:
If you control your diet in the proper way, you can stop gaining more weight. What about the weight that you are already carrying on your body? To shed off that stored fact, you have to work out. Start with simple walking or spot jogging and some free hand exercises and you will soon feel thinner from within.

Is it possible to lose weight on a diet?

Losing weight is very important to stay healthy. However, it is more important for the obese and not with those who already have a slim, trim and fit body. However, many people think that with dieting they can be 50 kilos directly from 100 kilos. Even if that is possible, that is not at all healthy. What most of the people make the mistake of considering a diet is actually a crash diet that drastically reduces the weight but is absolutely unhealthy.

Diet is a systematic food habit that is scientific and must vary from person to person because every person’s bodily needs are different. If you are worried to think is it possible to lose weight on a diet, then the answer should be yes, provided the diet is proper you maintain it properly.
How should be a proper diet?
·         Low carb:
A proper diet chart must include low carbohydrate foods. Avoid the starch like breads and sugar and depend more on proteins and minerals in the form of fish, boiled or grilled chicken, soups and stews, more of salads so that major portion of your diet is filled with vegetables. That way you will end up not having more calories.

·         Less fat:
Natural fats are still allowed, but artificial and Trans-fats are more harmful for the body. It is better to lean towards boiled, stewed and grilled food than depending on fried. And street food and junk food are absolute no!


It is always advisable that you eat when you are hungry. This way you can skip your constant eating habit and it will also indicate that your stomach is full and does not need food. However, no diet can lose your weight to a great extent if you do not add a certain degree of physical activity to your regime.
